Dog Food and Supplies in Berlin, CT

We really like Dirty Dog and have used their self wash, professional grooming and just stopped for a quick nail trim. They are always professional and kind, the facility is clean and they have great treats for after a bath. I would recommend them to anyone!

Pup left very happy and very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Raised tubs with steps are great for people who have a hard time bending over and for large dogs especially. My pup smells so good and is so soft.

This is a great place to wash your dog. I went there for the first time yesterday and used the self wash. The staff was extremely helpful, making sure I had the right shampoo for my corgi. They also showed me how to use the dryer, so my timid dog wasn't frightened. He even got a cookie when he was all done and left very happy with the experience. I will totally be going back.

Kind people who are sweet with the pets.

During the 14th day at Middlesex hospital supporting my dad, my son son informs me that both rescues, Addison & Gabe were “playing” with a skunk. The skunk didn’t survive. I called Dirty Dog and without hesitation, Janet made arrangements and said to come in ASAP. The “magic” solution was waiting in each stall for our smelly fur-babies. Janet went above and beyond in providing education as Gabe had the skunk in his mouth, and would likely need a rabies booster. She also guided my son and I through the entire process ..making sure we followed the 3 step procedure correctly, even rolling up her sleeves to help my son. During the lengthily process, Janet showed kindness and genuine concern for my dad, making this otherwise unfortunate situation, a positive, therapeutic experience. If you’ve never been to Dirty Dog for services and/or their Doggie Bakery, get there...you will not be disappointed!
